About PredictJEE

Free statistical prediction platform for JEE Main aspirants.

TL;DR

PredictJEE is a free statistical prediction platform that ranks JEE Main exam topics by likelihood. Built on analysis of 15,000+ JEE Main questions from 2010–2026. April 2026 validation: 88% of top-25 predicted topics appeared.

What PredictJEE Is

PredictJEE is a free statistical prediction platform for the JEE Main entrance exam. It helps Indian high-school students preparing for JEE Main decide which Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics topics to study first by ranking topics by their probability of appearing in the next session.

The platform analyses every released JEE Main paper from 2010 through 2026 — over 15,000 questions tagged into 345 distinct question types — and applies a 10-signal adaptive prediction framework to forecast the most likely topics for the upcoming exam. Every prediction the platform publishes is backtested against held-out historical years to measure its real accuracy.

How It Works

  • Each topic is scored on 10 statistical signals: long-horizon frequency, trend, and cycle; short-horizon frequency, trend, cycle, and recency; gap-boost for overdue topics; over-exposure penalty; and momentum.
  • Signal weights are tuned per subject through walk-forward backtesting on JEE Main data from 2015–2025.
  • A volume confidence discount down-weights topics with very few historical appearances so rare types do not dominate the rankings.
  • Topics are bucketed into four tiers: MUST STUDY (asked 9+ of last 11 years), SHOULD STUDY (6–8), LOW PRIORITY (3–5), and RARELY ASKED (0–2).
